Short overviews of our two platforms: what they do, how they work and how they connect to the systems you already run.

Nurayn

HR and payroll for the Middle East and Africa, with Nur, the AI assistant, built in.

Overview

Nurayn runs payroll, leave and end of service with the local rules of each market built in. It can be used on its own or connected to the finance system you already use.

Local rules

Wage protection files, social insurance and end of service, set up for each market.

Connected

Works next to NetSuite or Oracle Fusion, or on its own.

Hosted on Oracle Cloud

Runs on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, currently in Dubai.

The payroll cycle

Every pay period follows the same six steps, with a check at each one.

1. Inputs

Attendance, leave and changes come in and are checked.

2. Calculate

Allowances, deductions and end of service.

3. Approve

Reviewed and signed off before anything is paid.

4. Pay

The wage protection file is checked, then sent to the bank.

5. Report

Social insurance and authority returns are prepared.

6. Issue

Payslips and certificates reach each employee.

What it covers

The parts of payroll that differ from one market to the next.

Wage protection files

Files in the format each market expects, checked before they go to the bank.

End of service

Gratuity accrued as you go, with the rules applied per employee.

Social insurance

Pension and social insurance calculated and reported for each market.

Attendance and leave

Timesheets, balances and approvals feed straight into the run.

Several currencies

Pay in more than one currency in the same run, with rates locked per period.

Payslips and certificates

Clear documents for employees, in English and Arabic.

Workspaces

Each role sees what it needs and nothing else.

HR team

Leave, attendance and the organisation in one place.

Payroll officer

Run payroll, clear exceptions and send files to the bank.

Employee

Payslips, certificates and leave requests in one place.

Nur, the AI assistant

Nur is available from every screen and answers in plain words.

Knows who is asking

Each answer is limited to the records and policies the person is allowed to see.

Works through your rules

Nur does not calculate anything itself. Requests run through Nurayn's payroll rules, so everything stays in the audit trail.

Connecting to your systems

Nurayn exchanges data with the systems around payroll.

Finance

Employee records and cost centres come in, and the payroll journal goes back to your finance system, such as NetSuite or Oracle Fusion.

Banks and authorities

Wage protection files and authority returns are prepared for each market.

VendorGuard

Third-party risk management, with the payment decision shown inside Oracle Fusion.

Overview

VendorGuard follows each vendor from onboarding to offboarding. It scores the risk, keeps the evidence and tells your payment team whether a vendor can be paid.

One record per vendor

From the first document to the last audit.

Inside Oracle Fusion

The verdict appears where payments are made.

Ready for audit

Every action, document and decision is time-stamped.

The vendor lifecycle

Each vendor goes through the same six steps.

1. Onboard

Details and documents collected in one place.

2. Assess

Inherent score, controls and residual score.

3. Decide

A payability verdict, with the evidence attached.

4. Monitor

Every action stays time-stamped on the record.

5. Reassess

Reviewed on a cycle set by risk tier.

6. Offboard

The full record kept for audit.

The payability verdict

Shown on the Supplier and Invoice pages in Oracle Fusion Financials, at the moment the payment is made.

Payable

All mandatory steps and controls cleared.

Payable with risk

Assessment complete with documented caveats. Payment may proceed under defined conditions.

Not payable

The score exceeds the threshold or critical controls failed. Payment is blocked until the case is resolved.

What it covers

What every vendor review needs.

Risk scoring

An inherent score sets the workflow tier. Controls then produce the residual score.

Verification checks

Registration, tax, bank and sanctions checks, summarised on the case.

Risk-tiered workflows

Six tiers. The higher the risk, the deeper the review.

Controls library

A sector checklist attached automatically, scored and backed by evidence.

Evidence pack

Every action, document and decision, ready for audit and committee review.

Connecting to your systems

VendorGuard reads from Oracle Fusion and writes back to it.

Oracle Fusion Financials

Supplier records come in, and the verdict goes back to the Supplier and Invoice pages.

Other platforms

Other systems connect through a REST API.

Who uses it

Organisations that must show why a vendor was approved.

Banks

Third-party and outsourcing risk, scored by materiality, with a register and committee reporting.

Insurers

Due diligence on service providers and intermediaries, with an audit trail behind each approval.

Public sector

A clear record of who assessed a supplier, what was found and who signed off the payment.
